Hurray for spring!  The warm weather ushers in one of my favorite summer pastimes: free outdoor movies!  Here’s what’s coming up:

• Rosslyn’s “I Love the 80s” Outdoor Film Festival kicks off with that gem from my childhood, The Goonies.  The show starts at dusk at Gateway Park at Lee Highway near Key Bridge, but show up early for ’80s-themed games and prizes.
• Crystal City’s Crystal Screen Outdoor Film Festival kicks off a superhero-themed summer on Monday night (May 4) with 2002’s Spider-Man.  The movie starts at sundown at 18th and Bell Street across from the Crystal City Metro Station.  And on opening night, you can stop by the Noodles & Company at 2011 Crystal Drive for FREE soup, salad, or noodles when you mention Crystal Screen.
