Giant is having a Grand Opening Sale at the Giant at Beacon Mall in Alexandria.  There are some extra savings at this location this week.  You can check them out in the circular to decide if it’s worth the trip.   Here are my favorites:

Semi-Boneless Rib Steak – $4.99/lb

Eastern Peaches – $.79/lb

Coke 4 pack – 4 for $10

The sale circular for Beacon Mall this week also contains 5 Coupon Triplers.  These will triple the value of a manufacturer’s coupon up to $.99.  I don’t know if these will be in the sale fliers in the store (they usually aren’t) so if you are one of the lucky ones to get it in the mail, make sure to hang on to it!

This week’s Giant ad in the Washington Post had four “Dollar Doubler” coupons.  These coupons work with a $1 off coupon for an extra dollar off.  Basically, they take $4 off your total grocery bill.  These are usually not in the in-store fliers, so you’ll need to get one from the Post or home mailer.

I stumbled upon a new link for the Giant $5/$15 meat coupon, so it seems to be working again.  Grab it before they take it away again!

Giant just released a new coupon for $5 off a $15 meat purchase, valid through July 16.  Use it this week at Giant to get Split Chicken Breast for $.66/lb or Country Style Pork Ribs for $1/lb.  You may also be able to use this at Harris Teeter as a competitor’s coupon.

It’s Dollar Doubler week at Giant!  Each Giant circular that you receive in the mail or with the Washington Post should have 4 Dollar Doubler coupons in it.  You can clip these and use them at Giant in conjunction with a regular $1 manufacturer’s coupon to double it with orders of $15 or more.

I’ve heard rumors that you can use Giant’s Dollar Doubler coupons at Harris Teeter as competitor’s coupons, but I’ve never tried it.  Does anyone else have any info on this?
